WHAT IT IS

The working A prototype: use its controls to test the build question.

WHY IT MATTERS

Turn information displays into an actual accountable decision path.

RN'S ROLE

RN conceived the question, structured the evidence boundaries, designed the experience, implemented the prototype and documented its limits.

BOUNDARY

This independent prototype demonstrates an approach; it is not a deployed client system, professional advice or proof of real-world outcomes.

HOW TO USE THIS PAGE

Work through the controls with a situation of your own rather than the sample values. The tool responds to what you put in, so the useful output comes from real input, and everything is processed in your browser as you go. Any sample content you find already loaded is there to show the shape of a filled-in state, and you can clear it and start again at any point.

WHERE TO GO NEXT

The build overview sets out the question, the purpose, the role and the evidence status in one place, and the public record behind it states what changed, what another person can reuse and what supports the system. If you want to judge how far this build should be trusted, the record is the page to read, not this one.

BUILD 008-A

Decision-Ready Dashboard Standard

Keep only the information that can change a named decision—then make ownership, authority, action, timing, escalation, and the next observable state explicit.

01 / START WITH THE DECISION
02 / JUSTIFY EVERY METRIC

Evidence that can change the decision

Metric 2
03 / MAKE THE ACTION STATE EXPLICIT

Decision → owner → action → next state

DECISION READINESS / ENGINE 008.1.0

DECISION READY

Metric readiness: 100% · Build 001 human-control inheritance: 16/16 · Strong

Action state

  1. Decision: Should we add reviewer capacity and reassign high-consequence cases this week?
  2. Owner: Service operations lead
  3. Trigger: Backlog exceeds 10% or any high-consequence case lacks a reviewer
  4. Action: Assign backup reviewer and rebalance the current queue
  5. Next state: No high-consequence case unassigned and backlog returns below 10%

Gaps

All tested gates are present. Verify the real data and operating authority before relying on the dashboard.

Boundary: completeness is not correctness. This standard cannot prove data quality, causal attribution, organizational authority, compliance, or that the decision is right.
